Theme Downloads

I’ve prepared a bunch of blank themes to use as a starting point for developing your own custom bbPress themes. These themes were inspired by the free blank Wordpress themes at Tomorrows Laundry. The blank bbpress themes are designed to have similar structure to the blank wordpress themes enabling you to rapidly develop custom themes for a site that integrates both bbpress forum software and wordpress blog software.

The bbPress themes are minimalistic in terms of the style. This enables a new theme to be developed without first having to carefully strip out extensive CSS rules.

The following themes are available in both .zip and .tar.gz file formats:

  • 1col_fixed: bbPress blank 1-column theme with fixed width
  • 1col_fluid: bbPress blank 1-column theme with fluid width
  • 2col_fixed_left: bbPress blank 2-column theme with left sidebar and fixed width
  • 2col_fixed_right: bbPress blank 2-column theme with right sidebar and fixed width
  • 2col_fluid_left: bbPress blank 2-column theme with left sidebar and fluid width
  • 2col_fluid_right: bbPress blank 2-column theme with right sidebar and fluid width

This theme is free for you to use for commercial and non-commercial purposes provided you do one (or both) of the following:

  1. Post a link to the site http://bbpressraw.com/ somewhere on one of your websites.- or / and -

The themes below have been tested against and are compatible with bbPress 0.8.3.
